When selecting a credit card you should always look out for the Annual Percentage Rate, additional fees and of course rewards.
Non Reward Credit Cards
These types of credit cards will not reward you for making payments on time or even if you spending lots of money with our credit card. Instead they subsidise your bonus for other important things waving any interest charged for a particular period of time.
The two know types of non reward credit cards include offers with 0% APR intro rates. Usually only open to certain people with good credit history. This is a major bonus because you can spend and not pay it back for the period of 0% APR. However since its only an introductory offer you’ll have to revert back to the usual APR once the period is over.
The second type of non reward credit cards have lower than normal APR and this is ongoing.
Credit Cards With Rewards
If you’re more interested in getting a free Xbox or iPod instead of lower interst rates then credit cards with rewards are just the thing you need. If you always pay on time and want to get rewarded for it, then you’ll need a rewards credit card. However it will come with a slightly above the average interest rate but with the bonuses you’ll soon forget about it. Just always pay on time and you’ll be fine.
