The Discover Platinum Card is our #2 pick, and is a fantastic alternative to the Citibank Platinum card.

The only thing we didn't really like is the fact that you have a range of APRs and it is not a definite indication as to what your rate is going to be until you apply.

For us, we'd rather know upfront what it is going to be, and then work from there.
